	CHS Corporate Organization Correctional Health Services, LLC (CHS) was the state of New Jersey's first private company to specialize in correctional healthcare, incorporated in October 1989. CHS has more than 19 years of experience in providing contract medical services to New Jersey County correctional facilities, with annualized gross contract revenues exceeding $18 million. CHS is a subsidiary of Prison Health Services, Inc. (PHS), providing enhanced strength and diversification through national utilization management and pharmacy management services. CHS is a managed care company that assures compliance with federal, state and local standards and regulations. We design and manage client-specific healthcare delivery systems for inmate populations that provide quality care, cost containment and comprehensive services. CHS programs meet the requisite standards of the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare (NCCHC) as well as the American Correctional Association (ACA). We also comply with Immigration and Nationalization Services (INS) regulations. Under CHS' leadership, Hudson County Juvenile Detention Center (HCJDC) became the first New Jersey facility to achieve prestigious accreditation for medical services from the NCCHC. They were deemed 100% compliant in 68 different NCCHC standards. Hudson Juvenile remains a CHS client today, and maintains their NCCHC and ACA accreditation, as do ALL of the CHS sites in New Jersey which have chosen to pursue accreditation.
