Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

  
  Gale Gargiulo served as Regional Director from 1999 to 2004 with responsibility for overseeing all daily operational issues in all sites before being appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Gargiulo was the Health Services Administrator in the Hudson County Correctional Center in 1993 and served on the Hudson County Juvenile Detention Center’s Transition Team. Ms. Gargiulo was the Health Services Administrator in the Essex County Jail from 1991 to 1993 and the Bergen County Jail from 1994 to 1999 before being appointed Regional Director. Ms. Gargiulo has served in a variety of Nurse Executive and Management positions including Assistant to the Corporate Medical Director at Bankers Trust and Consultant to the New York City Emergency Medical Services System. She is a graduate of City University. She is a NCCHC Certified Correctional Health Professional.
